Last night I attended the musical Scrooge, starring one of our
club’s most talented members, Gary Samuelson.
Gary did an
outstanding performance as the lead character, Scrooge, and he had several
wonderful solos.
This presentation was a little different from the prior
year’s presentations I had seen; and Gary
was great. ["Gary played the part of Scrooge before. Since that time he has lost almost 100 pounds and grown a tremendous beard and sideburns." from the website]
Our club is most fortunate to have someone as talented and
seasoned as Gary for one of our
club leaders.
The performance really got me in the Christmas spirit!
