I used to NOT want to be a leader. When leadership opportunities arose, I avoided eye contact and took three steps back as quickly as possible.

Due to Toastmasters, I’m no longer afraid to take risks and sign up for opportunities out of my comfort zone.

Toastmasters applies everywhere: By using skills gained in Toastmasters, especially the evaluation approach, conversations are a lot less confrontational. It has improved my effectiveness as a parent/coach.
